Its been confirmed that both releases are single disc.

It'll be so they can release special editions in a years time.

The BBC shop are selling the dvd's as limited edition sleeves.

I prefer the original Enemy art but love this version of Web of Fear.

I might order these from the site. Looks like the other art will be on the sleeves, and this art is on a slipcase.

BOTH of them look fantastic!

And now people on GB are saying that Enemy is now their favourite Troughton!

Can we assume that Episode 3 of The Web of Fear will be animated?

Clearly the BBC have had the episodes for a while or they couldn't have digitally restored and remastered them.

Sure, its part of the fiftieth and to me there's no better anniversary gift (which we have to pay for of course) than old Doctor Who that the majority of fans have never seen before.

I'm fairly sure in my mind they will be working on others now. The knowledgable ones at Gallifrey Base who have been correct about everything so far, seemed to think Marco Polo had also been returned. I would expect an announcement for that at press release with some of Hartnell's companions in the new year.

Wasn't the original rumour something about episode featuring Troughton AND Hartnell being re-discovered?

No such thing surely? Wasn't episode 4 of The Tenth Planet discovered already?
