When are Capaldi's eps turning up - he came into at Xmas and nobody has seen any yet (or at least I think they haven't) and its now April

There's no date set yet. Late summer or Autumn most likely, going through to Christmas.

They are still filming at the moment. Episode three i think. They do film out of order though.

Airdate - Late Summer/Autumn

Format - 13 episodes

Other notes: One episode may end up being the Christmas special. Moffat stated he wants Capaldi’s debut series to be a continuous run and not split.

Neil Cross said he was a writing a story, although it has yet to be officially confirmed. Tom MacRae has written another script although he is unsure if it will be in Series 8. Jack Lothian‘s CV originally claimed he was writing an episode, but a later update removed it. New writer Frank Cottrell Boyce also said he had a story in the works, although it was unclear again if it will make it to Series 8.

Written by Steven Moffat. Directed by Ben Wheatley.

The opening story takes place predominantly in Victorian London and features the return of the Paternoster Gang. Moffat said: “We can push that Doctor a bit further if you’ve got a familiar world around him.” Moffat also said Capaldi is going to be an older, trickier and fiercer Doctor. “I think the fun story will be – and we have the opportunity here – is this is what regeneration can do to you. He can be very, very different.” Moffat later added: “Now it’s time for the old beast to snarl at you for a bit!” Jack the Ripper and Clockwork Droids will reportedly appear.

Rumoured Dalek story. Ford teased the story would be going “behind enemy lines.” He later gave a further one word clue of “Lasagne.”

Robin Hood themed episode with Tom Riley playing the character and Ben Miller as the Sheriff of Nottingham. Also features robot knights. Rumoured title: “Robots of Sherwood”.

Episode premise: “When you talk to yourself, what if the person you’re talking to isn’t really you?” Features a minotaur-like monster. Samuel Anderson joins the cast as recurring character Danny Pink, a teacher at Coal Hill School. Anderson said: “I can’t wait to show people how my character becomes involved with such a fantastic duo!” Rumoured title: “Listen”.

The Doctor and Clara come face to face with the mysterious Ms Delphox (Keeley Hawes) when they arrive on a strange and puzzling planet. Delphox is a powerful out-of-this-world character with a dark secret. Jonathan Bailey plays a cyborg. Rumoured title: “Time Heist”.

Guest starring: Keeley Hawes (Ms Delphox), Jonathan Bailey, Pippa Bennett-Warner.

Written by Gareth Roberts. Directed by Paul Murphy.

Little is known about the episode except some of the action takes place in Coal Hill School with the 12th Doctor posing as the caretaker.

I'd take another Ice Warrior story. Cold War was the highlight of last years series.

I noticed this at the bottom of the article -

Smith will next be seen in cinemas in Ryan Gosling’s directorial debut, Lost River, which also stars Christina Hendricks, Saoirse Ronan and Eva Mendes.

What are the chances The Great Intelligence isn't really dead? Hope not as he's one of the better Whoniverse villains.

With The Web of Fear being the best selling classic dvd of all time, lets hope the Yeti and Intelligence are brought back at some point.
