She had one hell of an introduction in the Ribos Operation - I absolutely love how she unnerves the Doctor in the first episode. A truly magnificent companion.

And lest we forget good ol' Nicholas Courtney, the greatest UNIT operative of them all. Still a tad misserable over his departure, but at least it was tied in to the series I guess. Wonder how there gonna explain Sarah Jane's absence.
