I finally got to watch The Forbidden Planet a few days ago, i enjoyed it a lot, also the steam effect that is supposed to be the car moving fast across the dessert looks brilliant even today, it makes me wonder why film makers don't go back to the roots of film making and spend a little cash on old techniques, there's nothing wrong with old films so why not try to make a few new ones.

The 50's Blob is not that bad,certainly not the turkey people would have you believe,and the theme song is cool too,80's Blob is a decnt enough film with some cool effects.
