A great film - delightfully bonkers.

I saw The Road for the first time recently and thought it as good as any post apocalyptic yet made.

For me the relentless bleakness eventually lead to boredom. Thought the novel worked much better. Haven't seen Lawless yet, but it looks like Hilcoat is yet to top The Proposition . . .

Lets rev those engines and lock and load!

With Mad Max now out (I can't wait to see it this afternoon!), what better time is there to *bump* this thread?

So, what are some of the best post-apocalyptic Mad Max 'Knock-offs' /inspired movies that you've seen?

There's quite a few but not many are that easily available, so it would be great to get some chat going!

Anybody seen Battletruck? It sounds like a New Zealand version of Mad Max 2...
