A massive NO! from me, a masterpiece that still looks amazing, even if you find it slow, which to be fair it is at times. This just adds to the futuristic noir of the film in my opinion. It has and always will influence science fiction as will the brilliant novel. Sometimes I watch this movie and still find myself gobsmacked by its beauty of sets, imagination, and iconic imagery. I love every minute of it.... in a time when thoughtless, packed full of over rated actors, action every two seconds kinda films make mega bucks at the box office that nobody will remember in 12 months.

I'm liking the look of that.

So I guess Deckard wasn't a replicant after all.
Unless,of course he's a Duracell replicant.

Gosling was a good choice for this too.

Of course he is! Just like Rachel, he has a longer lifespan than the rest. They'll probably explain in the new film that they age just like humans, and I expect they'll tell us what happened to her too.
sjconstable likes this.

Default Blade Runner - Is It Overrated

I think it would be taking the piss, and annoy a lot of people if Ridley now turns around says Deckard is human adfter them making it more than clear in the DC and Final Cut that he's a replicant.
