I remember trying to get the soundtrack album. It was advertised on the end credits, but it just did not exist.
Instead, there was a album by The New American Orchestra. It was actually quite good but I never know why it took so long for the Vangelis album to come out.

HMV had it last week with a big x on it!

A great soundtrack nonetheless.

Which I relented and bought today along with The Commitments and Deliverance CD's for a nice £4.50 each.

The Blade Runner OST from Vangelis is superb.

All three wonderful soundtracks.

There's a second volume from The Commitments too.

Right On !

It's a shame that 'Rachel's Theme' is not in the movie. That track is just awesome!

Look outside your window

According to the caption in the film, 'Blade Runner' is what the world (or Los Angeles at least) is going to be like NOW!

Where are the Flying cars, Artificial pets, Voice-driven photo enhancement, Ad-festooned Airships, Space colonies and Replicants?
