Default Dinosaur Films

From zombies to Bigfoot and now...DINOSAURS. Is there anything that has lived on this earth quite as awesome as a dino? I don't think so. So, here's a thread dedicated and obsessed with all things dino-horror. From Jurrasic Park to Hammer's One Million Years B.C., to Legend of Dinosaurs and Monster Birds and more.

So here's a thread to discuss all things dino - from dinosploitation (!) to big block buster dinos. What's your favs? Your worse? Do you even like dino films?!

P.S. Rawr!

From my childhood it has to be Land That Time Forgot at the cinema and One Million Years BC on TV. I do like a good ole dinosaur flick!

Maybe. Just maybe.

Good call, Blob. The Land That Time Forgot is an excellent fun film -from Amicus if I'm not confusing titles. As for Godzilla, I guess you could call that a dino film - just with powers

There has to be loads of dino horrors out there, right? I mean, how can there not be plenty of gory dinosaur films? Even if they are terrible

I've seen the one that's an Aliens ripoff but with dinosaurs (which I believe is the second) and the one that then recycles footage from that one (which I think is called Primal Species. Or was it Raptor? Can't recall.
Never seen the first one, though.

Love the MST3K Future War episode

Dino flicks I remember watching on TV as a nipper, apart from The Land That Time Forgot and One Million Years BC, were The Valley of Gwangi and When Dinosaurs Ruled The Earth. The classic 1933 King Kong also featured the giant ape slugging it out with a tyrannosaurus and a pterodactyl.
