It's definitely one you should see but i was not impressed at all.

It must be good because no one has made me an exchange offer for the US special edition dvd (It's not available in the UK) after i posted it in the dvd trade thread.

Starship Troopers got a hell of alot of votes i should really pick it up sometime. I always had it in my mind it would be rubbish for some reason without giving it a chance.

I think Starship Troopers was quite low down on my list but sneaked in because it has some very entertaining parts. Being by Verhoven (like Robocop) it is quite dark and violent and has some subversive moments that make it interesting, it also has Michael Ironside who i've always liked since 'V'.
On the minus side it has some questionable acting at times. But is definitely worth a watch.

Michael Ironside is always a plus in an film.
