I don't think I considered it a science fiction film, which is probably why it's not on my list. It probably fits the criteria, but it didn't cross my mind when compiling the list.

Sorry to break it to you but you screwed up lol, I didn't vote for the Fritz Lang Metropolis, I put 2001 in brackets after it because it's the anime I was voting for :P
