I voted for Ferrara's film.

Just so it didn't get left out. It's still a very good film and one i've seen many more times than the other two.

What about you on the What films have you seen recently? thread? Aren't you expressing judgements about films and their artistic merit, or lack thereof?

As much as I liked the first, and the "third", Kaufman's take on it is my favourite. I liked the special effects and the cast. The dog with the owner's face gave me goosebumps when I saw it for the first time on VHS, on original release.
