Default The Humanoid

Luigi Cozzi wasn't the only Italian to jump on the Star Wars bandwagon, Aldo Lado did too! Highlights of the film include the hairstyle of Barbara Bach that resembles a dead bird, Ivan Rassimov in full on Lord Vader mode, a droid that looks like a novelty bin and some boobies!

There's an excellent fan site dedicated to the film.

C'mon Shameless, give this film a release!

Blimey it's been years since I last saw this. What a wacko film! Reunited Barbara Bach & Richard Kiel for the 3rd time.

Whatever was Arthur Kennedy doing in this? Even more importantly whatever inspired Ennio Morricone to score it?

She's always been hot mate!

I used to always get mixed up with her and Barbara Carrera!

I caught this at the cinema in the early 80's (or was it late 70's?) and even as a young'un its shameless ripping off of Star Wars had me in stitches. Heaps of fun - so come on, Shameless, this would be an ideal title to release.

And I certainly enjoyed this lots more than Battle Beyond the Stars, which came out around the same time, although Sybil Danning made it at least watchable, for reasons that should be obvious. Two reasons actually.

I'm not too sure but i think i still have a long play VHS tape of TH recorded off the Sci-Fi Channel from a few years back.
I can't recall the topless girl torture scene making an appearance in this print but then again the film was screened on a mid-morning!

The ancient U.K. video version was probably used as the source of the broadcast i would imagine and i'd definitely be up for a copy on DVD!

I remember going to see this at the cinema on a double bill with The 7th Voyage of Sinbad.

The RCA/Columbia Silver Series release was cut by the BBFC (25 seconds) & lost the nudity.I thought it was in the theatrical print, but I must be mistaken. However I've seen the torture sequence somewhere.
