I enjoyed tonights episode on the whole.

Some cringe inducing moments but not too many. Visnjic and Glenister both very good. Whitaker slightly better than usual and i didn't mind the monsters, although, as others have said, should have been the Racnoss.

Felt like a better episode of the Sarah Jane Adventures rather than Doctor Who though.

Feel the show becoming more of a history lesson and political correctness travelling back and forward on earth than travelling space \ universe \ different planets and coming across alien \ monsters etc .

So i take it you never noticed the alien scorpion things running round New York then?

Doctor Who has always taken in historical elements / figures. You'd know that if you genuinely liked it.

I don't have many episodes or series at all, tbh so if anyone upgrades I'm willing to take the ones they upgrade from of them .

I'm genuinely not having a go at you here but for someone who says they like the show you seem to just type the first thing that comes into your head.

Every single series since it was revived begins with a story set on present day Earth, a historical one and an alien world one. Not always in that order but they are always there so this series is no different to any other. The only exception being series 9.

Tbh Ive not really been a fan at all since it come back, to extent I don't follow the storyline plots etc much anymore to the point I just watch it for sake of watching it, that's why only make odd comment wether I enjoyed the episode or not and don't contribute anything else to the doctor who thread. Sorry just being honest.
