He was interviewed in Doctor Who Magazine recently (the Jon Pertwee centenary special) and said he'd no desire to play the Doctor as he'd never be as good as his dad.

Artist: Murray Gold and Yamit Mamo
Title: The Stowaway
Notes:
* Performed at a dance on the spaceship Titanic before its plunge into Earth's atmosphere
* The Stowaway" was the fourth original song commissioned for Nu-Who
* In the episode, Yamit Mamo appeared as the vocalist of the song, and Murray Gold appears as one of her musicians
* The song can be found on the 'Series 3' soundtrack album

Interesting FACT...

When the film 'Horror Express' was made, it was shot mostly without sound, with the effects and voices being added in post-production. Christopher Lee, Peter Cushing and Telly Savalas all provided their own voices for the English market. However, Inspector Mirov, who was played by Julio Pena, had his English speaking voice dubbed by...Roger Delgado!
