The Faceless Ones. Watched 1&2 last week, 3&4 this week. Enjoying it more this time than earlier in the year. Not sure why; maybe the 4:3 black and white version is more appropriate for it, or maybe, given I was in the middle of really hardcore marathonning Demdike's favourite show at that time, I just wasn't in the right headspace at all to appreciate it earlier in the year. |

We're in. This is exactly what Ayreon have achieved with their latest album Transitus. A gothic ghost story set in a distant but familiar past, it's infused with elements of classic horror and the supernatural. Oh – and it's narrated by former Doctor Who star Tom Baker. “The year is 1884, these are dark, troubled times, fraught with greed, envy and prejudice,” Baker tells us on the album's opening. And from there, it only gets worse... "

But I agree - some of the pictures I use to illustrate television appearances have me wondering and scratching my head, but research and looking closer into things leaves me accepting that it *must* be the person in question
