I can't decide whether to get the Web of Fear special edition or not.

Will it look any better on Blu-ray? Debatable? I really don't know.

I think i'd prefer to shell out £34 for Tom's final season on blu than five black and white episodes at £20.

Frazer Hines has been filming again in Snowdonia.

There's obvious speculation that this is for special features for an upcoming animated The Abominable Snowmen.

I thought it was a known fact that 'The Abominable Snowmen' was being released in an animated form in the near future

Looks like I need to bring more 'rumour and speculation' to the forum

It's not actually been announced so until something is announced it can only really be speculation.

The only actual announcement has been Evil of the Daleks.

It could have been a trailer for a season five blu-ray release similar to the Ace, Jo, Mel ones for their respective season releases.

Good news if true. The Wheel In Space has also been mooted as an animated release, so would it be too much to hope for a Season 5 Blu Ray boxset? Probably!

There's a chance. Tomb and Enemy of the World are complete, The Ice Warriors and Web have releases part animated part actual episodes and Fury a full animation so there would only need to be partial animations done for Snowmen and Wheel.

If i was thinking logically i'd think that season 6 might come first to test the waters seeing as every story bar The Space Pirates is available in full.

Maybe season two as that is complete bar The Crusade. Plus it has the selling point of two Dalek stories including The Dalek Invasion of Earth.
