The moment you got into one scene it was gone never to be revisited. Although it began okay i quickly became bored of the haphazard nature of the episode and only kinda enjoyed it's last few minutes.

Can't ever see me watching it again. Although you can say the same for 95% of Chibnall and Whittaker's episodes

Well that's probably the first episode i've ever stopped after 20 minutes and really have no desire to continue, I will try tomorrow, but it was really hard work and leading nowhere.

I'm a big fan of dream scenes and weird abstract stuff in horror films and all that, but when it's just an onslaught of shit that doesn't connect to anything it's annoying.

I get that it's supposed to intrigue you and make you wonder how everything fits together eventually, but if nothing makes sense it's just randomly throwing shit against a wall to see what sticks.

I enjoyed last weeks episode because it was a self contained story mostly and the Sontarans were back to their old selves.

The CGI flux space stuff was really bad and the Daleks although only glimpsed briefly in the bit i saw were substandard computerised toss. I understand the story filming was probably compromised by lockdown, but if so make some tight basic tales, instead of some massive bag of shite that relies on crap effects.

And breathe....

That's the strange thing because up until yesterday the special effects work had been terrific.

On a proper Doctor Who note i've just helped take in my mum's shopping and inadvertently caught a tiny glimpse of what looked to be the dvd of Galaxy 4.

Happy Christmas, Dem!

Doctor Who overnight ratings revealed for episode 3 Once, Upon Time / Radio Times

"Overall, the episode saw an overnight audience of 3.76 million. Last week, 3.96 million people tuned in, while the season opener – The Halloween Apocalypse – scored 4.43 million viewers.

Despite the slight drop, the episode was still the fourth most-watched programme on Sunday after Strictly, Top Gear and Countryfile, which has overtaken it from last week.

Doctor Who will likely jump back above Countryfile when the catch-up figures are in."
