So all the people behind my least favourite era (bar the current one) are all coming back.
This does not really fill me with hope.

Should be interesting to see who they cast in the leading role. My concern is with the BBC, even though Davies is producing the show independently through BBC Studios. Will Davies scrap the destroyed Dr Who timeline or will he just dance around the edges and band aid up the catastrophic experiment created by the BBC and it's willing participant Chris Chibnall, who was paid a fine pay cheque indeed.

It all depends who they cast in the lead. It HAS to be a male for me, and not Cletus from The Simpsons.

Well it would with you. Do you fancy Jeremy Clarkson in the lead role? Or maybe a transgender Doctor. Could possibly be a black Doctor, or maybe someone younger than Matt Smith. Davies has plenty of options. My concern revolves around what went before. It's going to be difficult trying to either justify or ignore it, and say 'that was better than the crap that went before'. As I said sometime ago last year, I can't wait to see what happens. The body politic seems more interesting than what's happing with the current state of the show.
