Richard Todd was also a war hero. Taking part in the assault on Pegasus Bridge in Normandy at the start of D-Day. With this in mind it's kinda' (see what i did there ) strange that he played another character in The Longest Day rather than himself.

With Google screwing up their search engine for image hunters the Image of the Day posts will sadly be coming to an end.

Fortunately (Or not) i still have one or two in folders for future use. When i say one or two i mean over three years worth.
