I've currently two chapters to go reading the new illustrated Doctor Who and the Daleks novel and absolutely loving it, reading it carefully and poring over the artworks. It would make an ideal story to colour for a 21st century audience.

Someone on YT did a brief couple of clips from it colourised and it looked stunning. I'd absolutely watch the whole story like that!

I bet it does. It all looks kind of fake anyway being a dead planet and then the colours of the Dalek city.

I really hope they produce more of these illustrated novels.

Would love to read / look at Doctor Who and the Cave Monsters for example or later ones which were expanded upon the tv versions such as Battlefield, Remembrance of the Daleks, Curse of Fenric and Survival.

I have to say i love that Seeds of Doom cover. Gives the impression that it's an old dark house horror story with a horrible creature possibly Lovecraftian lurking in the cellar or grounds.

I rate the actual story but think the one i imagine from the cover art is even better.

Well, I watched the all animated The Faceless Ones then.
