I watched The Crusade on Saturday night. Episodes one and three plus the reconstructed two and four.

Although i've seen episodes before on the Lost in Time dvd and listened to the entire story via audio cd, watching it was a whole new experience.

And not a good one. Nothing happens, for the most part it's just chatter on two sets. This is why it worked better when i imagined what was happening along with the cast soundtrack. I found watching it to be very dull. The Romans, Marco Polo or The Aztecs this is certainly not.

Were this to be animated, even though it's unlikely due to cost, i can't see me rushing out to buy it on day one.
