When it comes to Nu-Who, ALL the rules that were set in place between 1963 - 1996 seem to get ignored!

True.

Actually that storyline Redeye posted sounds a right load of old b*llocks.

I like it when the TARDIS lands somewhere, the Doctor defeats a menace then we move on, not the codswallop that Moffat brings to proceedings.

Davis and Moffet wheren't the first to use over hanging arcs.
Daleks Master Plan, Dalek War, Stranded on Earth, Traken-Castrovalva, Key to Time, Trial and Cartmel.
But there all supperior to what Moffet has served us thus far.

DMP was one story not a series of stories with an arc don't forget.

The Dalek war was only a linking of Dalek stories and only mentioned in said stories, not a season long arc also.

Imo Moffat's arcs are pretty dull.

I actualy view it as four segments.

Prologue (Mission to the Unknown)

Katarina arc (up until her death)

Revenge of the Monk

Daleks Time Destructor

Thats discounting the chrimbob special. But thats just how I see it.

You're odd Hawkmonger.

The rest of us just see it as the fourth story of season 3.

'I. M. Foreman' spelt correctly as well!!!!

*Note - see 'Remembrance of the Daleks', where it is noted as being 'I. M. Forman'

Due to that being my first exposure to the series I have a soft spot for that spelling of Foreman. Even if it is wrong.
