Explain Hawk?

Isn't that from the Mark Gatiss docudrama?

No it's from the London Comic and Film convention on Saterday, my mates at the FB page Doctor Who and the TARDIS just messaged me it. It's supposidly a promo pic of the 50th special with Piper as Susan...no, i'm not happy.

I think you've been had Hawky! I'm sure that'll be from the Gattis docudrama - the guy on the left looks like David Bradley who's playing Hartnell. She doesn't even look like Billie Piper in that picture!

Edit: in fact, if you Goggle Image Search 'Adventures in Time and Space' you get a few behind the scenes images similar to the photo you posted:

I finished watching Nu Who series 4 today. I have to admit that I really enjoyed this and am annoyed with myself that this was the point I stopped watching when it was screened on tv. Tate was excellent as Donna Noble and it was truly refreshing not to have a companion making puppy dog eyes at The Doctor all of the time (although this point was slightly over-played with the recurring joke "We're not together!" which got a bit tiresome, along with Tate's shouting and "I'm just a temp!" modesty). My usual gripes with RTD's stuff are still there but I especially liked the Ood and Sontaran episodes. In fact, this was the first series that didn't have an episode I didn't enjoy now that I think of it* Having already seen some of her in the eleventh Doctor's stories it was particularly odd to see River Song for the 'first' time. I pretty much met her half-way at the point she meets the Doctor I think, confusing the timelines even more

I'll be trying the specials soon although I do recall seeing some of those.

* edit: scrap that, I forgot about the series opener. The Adipose episode, that was bloody stupid. And that was actually the last episode I watched when the series originally aired

Glad you enjoyed it Paul.

I thought season 4 had a brilliant opening three episodes - Partners / Pompeii / Ood. Then wasn't as keen on the Sontaran story. I thought they were too small and blue.

During The Stolen Earth some scenes sent shivers down my spine and still do - Davros recognizing Sarah, Jack's reaction to the Dalek voices over the airwaves as two examples. RT-D did brilliant build up episodes with great tension in my opinion but never followed them up so good. See also Utopia / The Sound of Drums - Great, The Last of the Timelords - letdown.

You've definitely been had Hawk. If you check the pic you posted you can see Mark Gatiss' head below the screen.

They were brief scenes shown at Comic Con in Paris. Hartnell Lives On in An Adventure in Space and Time Pics | Doctor Who TV
