I really can't get excited by Enemy of the World. The Troughton era to me was the monster era and this story has none.

Until we know more....

I know it sounds petty, its not really, i'd be delighted by The Wheel in Space being returned.

Right Deborah Watling and Frazer Hines are now involved with the whole thing (check Deborahs website). So it's definitely a Troughton recovery: most likely a season 5 one giving Deborah and Frasers involvement. This further supports the Enemy/Web theory...

Have you listened to it/ watched the one surviving episode? For me, season 5 was The Base Under Siege season. Practicaly every story had this set up, and having Troughten play an evil mexican dictator is an awsome thing. I love this story.

It also helps the TEOTE/TWOF theory as they are adjoining serials with the former having a cliffhanger leading straight into the latter. So if prints where sent out of either, context would have been needed.

"Although the BBC recently announced their plans for a simulcast of the 50th anniversary special, the exact time still remains unknown.

However, an apparent schedule leak from BBC America suggests The Day Of The Doctor could premiere at 2:45pm Eastern time on 23rd November, meaning a UK broadcast at 7:45pm.

BBC1 rarely announces exact times for shows until much closer to broadcast, but this does sound very likely given the primetime spot. As ever though, schedules are subject to change.

Other potential US air dates and times revealed include:

An Adventure in Space and Time on Friday 22nd November at 9pm
Explaining Doctor Who a documentary preceding the above
Tales from the TARDIS at 9:00pm on 18th November
Day of the Doctor Pre-Show airing before a repeat of The Day of the Doctor at 7:15pm EST on the 23rd"

I saw this earlier on another site.

It wouldn't surprise me if the Beeb put it on at 5pm so it wouldn't interfere with Strictly. God forbid if Strictly ever went up against the X-Factor in a ratings battle.
