Presumably this is to prepare people for the 'Adventure in Time and Space' thing
Its on straight after An Adventure in Time and Space.

I really like the look of this. Wouldn't it be cool if that TARDIS crew could remake the missing Hartnell stories and give the current show a rest?

The bridge between Classic and New Who has now been built.

I wish that prequel had been a bit longer. He deserved a bit more of a send off to be honest. Still ace though. Really looking forward to the special even more now we know who Hurt's Doctor is.

Paul McGann is the Doctor. Despite only seeing him onscreen for an hour, he fits the role perfectly.

Now he's back or shall we say re-introduced, there would be no reason we couldn't see any of his adventures if Capaldi is off doing other things for a while. A bit like the Tennant specials, i would be happy to see two or three McGann adventures, rather than a whole season or even as a Christmas special.

Perhaps if this prequel goes down really well then you never know....

I'm just gonna take this moment of glories adoration for that short and gloat a second. Dem, are you now convinced that the Big Finish audios are canon?

I loved it. Fans have been waiting 17 years to see that. Best thing I've seen all week!

Up until now they weren't, however until we know different i accept the McGann ones can be classed as canon. Only because character names were mentioned.

I still see canon as having been referenced by the tv stories and not the other way round.

Molly's great by the way. Dark Eyes was fantastic.

it does build up your hopes that the special might not be a total disaster.
