Over all pretty shite. Pointless new characters, underminign the threat of the Silence, pointless re-use of once great enemies. What was an almost perfect good bye scene was ruined by Amy popping up. BRILLiANT first scene with Capaldi. I loved Matt Smith, I really did, he was funny, charming and engaging. But in terms of scripts he was landed with the most consistently shite since Colin Baker. Thanks Matt, you did a great job with what you had. Now, Mr. Capaldi.... Susan Foreman likes this.

Pfft, he's had the best scripts of all the Nu Who's! RTDs stuff was childish and shite when it was bad. Farting aliens, lame Big Brother parodies, Peter Kay in a fat suit etc. people might not like Amy Pond or the River Song stuff but at least it meant something in relation to the character. When RTD was goo he was half decent but when he wasn't it was just CBBClite. His Xmas specials were all godawful.
