Releasing a trail so soon. Seems like the Beeb might be treating it as event television again.

Well finished season two of classic who and enjoyed this a lot more than the first, we have a more playful doctor who has a twinkle in his eye. Really enjoyed dalek invasion of earth and the Romans which William Hartnell seemed to be having a whale of a time.

Next up season three which shouldn't take to long as I only have 3 stories

The ark
The gun fighters
The war machines

Which I think are the only surviving full stories from this season?

I have around twenty of them.

Yes they are very good. Listen to a few Colin Baker stories you'll realize how great a Doctor he could have been.

I only pick them up occasionally because there are so damn many of them.

Are you doing the re-cons too? Because if so in season 3 you'll have the pleasure of watching the very long Daleks Master Plan 12 episodes of which nine do not exist. However even on audio its brilliant.

Check out the episodes prequel too: Mission to the Unknown. Doesn't have any of the main cast but its canon and entertaining.

As soon as The Underwater Menace comes out on dvd i'll watch them and listen to them from the beginning.

I'm thinking of making it into a thread with reviews and screen grabs.

..............

I hope The Underwater Menace is an animation project. I certainly won't be paying near £13 for one episode i don't own and one episode, telesnaps and audio all of which i already own anyway.

What do others think?
