It was a fortnightly publication, which contained a free cover-mounted DVD: Issues 1 - 28 featured 2 Nu-Who stories per disc, from 'Rose' to 'The Next Doctor'. Issues 29 - 73 featured classic Who stories. Issues 74 - 80 featured stories concerning the 11th Doctor, from 'The Eleventh Hour' to 'A Christmas Carol'. Issues 81 - 147 were back to classic Who stories The discs were all vanilla, with no extra features The discs in your picture would be a nice bargain for the casual (or new) viewer, but not much good to a Doctor Who anorak, who would probably want all the extra features

Apparently, it's because of the mummy in tonight's episode being so scary that the transmission time for this years series has been changed from early 0'clock to late 0'clock Nothing to do with 'Strictly' being shown at prime-time then!!!

I loved tonight's episode. The best of the series for me. I didn't think Clara was in it as she wasn't in any of the publicity stills beforehand. At last the Doctor / companion relationship finally seems like it's taking off. Both stars gave pitch perfect performances and Capaldi really became the Doctor as well. Thought the mummy was an excellent creation, part of a very enjoyable storyline. |

pfft! Seriously? Frank Skinner? Who next week Russell Howard or Lee Mack? (They did this in the 80's bringing in comedians and celebrities). Again didn't do anything for me, (except for Clara's dress). Although I did like Capaldi's impressions of Tom Baker and William Hartnell.

He was fine, and he's a fan so he has an idea what he's doing. Him being in this was nothing like Ken Dodd or Hale and Pace in the eighties. |

Nothing wrong with his performance it was just....Frank Skinner!....And I remember Ken Dodd, Hale & Pace and Alexi Sayle and I shiver at the memories!

I could say the same about Hale and Pace but it was a pointless cameo and wouldn't even be remembered were they not popular at the time. |
