Depending on what other stories you have seen, did you recognise the actor playing Lt John Andrews?

Carnival was an interesting one. Personally it's not a favourite but for some reason the glove puppet monsters known as Drashigs seemed to terrify poor Jo more than anything else and ended up as one of her worst nightmares, which was preyed upon in Frontier in Space as a form of mind control by the Master.

Having said that. Character Options Drashig toy is pretty damned smart.

It's Ian Marter, who would go on to play Harry Sullivan in the first series of Tom Baker stories, and 'Terror Of The Zygons

He also wrote some of the Target 'Doctor Who' books

Its harry sullivan (ian marter) who was a companion. A very dull and boring one to boot.

Apparently he was cast before Tom Baker, and at the time the producers didn't know what kind of man the new Doctor would be, so Harry was put in place to be the 'action man' character IF the Doctor was more of a William Hartnell actor

Harry was great. Don't understand the attitude. You want a boring regular, I suggest you look in the direction of Captain Mike Yates.
