I still have this on vhs.

Any of those actors would have made for a fine Doctor. Lumley especially.

Richard E. Grant actually played a version of the 9th doctor in the animated release 'Scream Of The Shalka' (2003)

In a piece of foreshadowing, David Tennant also appeared in this (uncredited) as The Young Caretaker

It's fine for completists and collectors, but I have to admit that it is a real chore to sit thru

Saw Oxygen last night. Blow me down, another good episode! In fact, this was even better than last week's as it didn't cop out and bring all the dead crew members back to life at the end. A very solid and entertaining horror episode with a good SF rationale behind it all, I thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm really starting to like Nardole too!
Holy crap, I'm enjoying current Who at the moment. Wow. It's been so long it almost feels like a new experience!

The ratings are going throught the floor, though.

Shame the ratings are low as its the best season in sometime, but I expect them to be better in america which is where the show makes its money now. If the quality continues it could be a nice swansong for peter capald

Yeah, me too.

The ratings should sort themselves out next season (hopefully) with the apparently much needed younger Doctor. Until then i'll just happily sit back and enjoy this series as i think whats coming up in the next few weeks should be terrific.
