Another release will be announced by the BBC next month, according to DWM, though whether it's a Web SE or the much mooted Season 12 blu ray set is up in the air...

I really hope the announcement next month is something new.

Special editions for Enemy and Web feel like a kick in the teeth for those loyal fans such as myself and i suspect others on here who made sure they pre-ordered the original releases to show we supported them. Even bare bones product.

As I said, really only interested in a Web SE if it's got the real episode 3 or at least an animated version on it. I'm just not that into extras.

Perhaps it's an Underwater Menace special edition?

True, but i'm not sure i could sit through that story again in any format.

It's lack of budget with characters running round tables in action scenes had me with my head in my hands in despair.

That's before we get to Joseph Furst...

Personally i think it's the worst story currently on dvd from the classic series.

Now I'd buy a "special edition" of SN to get the extended version our DVD producers were just too lazy to bother putting on the first one...
