Apparently the series opener is going to be an extended episode, with a 65 minute run time

The other episodes in the run are due to last for 50 minutes each

The first picture of Matt Smith in the role

Apparently the film has been panned by the critics, with Peter Bradshaw from The Guardian calling it 'oddly unambitious' and gaving it two stars, while Robbie Collen from the Telegraph's gave it three stars and said Smith was 'miscast' and that the movie was 'frustrating'.

A new teaser

I can already hear both sides of 'fandom':

The haters - 'Pah! Typical woman. Enters a room and breaks everything'

The believers - 'Wonderful. The BBC, the programme and Jodie smashing the glass ceiling'

its the Guarding so it will probably be ok as there reviewers seem to be a bunch pretentious snobs. in some ways the remind me of Barry Norman if he hated a film i would probably enjoy it and if he loved it, it would be a good cure for insomnia !
