Yes, I did but after season a 11 Tom Baker taking a dump on a frog would be good entertainment compared to it. Really enjoyed remembrance but not too keen on happiness patrol.

The Happiness Patrol was one i disliked upon first viewing, although that was when it originally aired and was in my mid teens at the time.

Over the years and with subsequent viewings i wouldn't say it had become a firm favourite but it has certainly improved no end. In fact when i last watched it i'd have scored it 8/10. As you say - Head and shoulders above this seasons stories. The only one of which i'd like to watch again at some point would be The Witchfinders, maybe Arachnids as well. I certainly won't be getting the box set.

I still haven't seen the Series finale. As of a year ago that would have been unheard of (Doctor Falls was amazing and I was ecstatic the whole week beforehand) but I really don't care right now. I'm halfway through Warriors of the Deep and that's much better.

On a sidenote I saw a couple of Twitter polls conducted by a fan who is very anti Series 11. Results unsurprising. A lot of people want Jodie to stay but Chibnall to go.

I didn't want Jodie in the first place but she has shown she could work given correct material. I attach 100% of the blame to Chibnall for the quality of this Series. I'd happily accept a compromise where he goes and she stays, hopefully to be given proper material to work with.

What's Philip Hinchcliffe doing these days? Can't they bring him back for a Series or two to fix the Show?

He's too old sadly. I think that's why Terence Dicks won't write a story either. Don't need the hassle. I think both RT-D and Moff asked him to write a story.

Is there a reason Rt-D won't come back? After season 11 pretty much anyone would be better choice than Chibnall.

My post was about Terence Dicks not returning not RT-D.

However to answer your question he has said he has no intention of writing again as he doesn't want to get in the way basically.

What i read it as is he'll write a far better story than the show runner and fans would be demanding his return.

Must admit i think i could write a better plot outline than anything we've seen recently.

They should get the people from Big Finish to do the tv stuff. They still produce what i would call classic Doctor Who style stories by the bucketload.

Have you listened to a lot?

Wondered if you could recommend any.

I tend to go for ones with classic monsters like Daleks and Cybermen other than that i'm a bit in the dark.
