OK, maybe I should have said "back when STTNG" was new But content-wise, I still consider STTNG a masterpiece, well, excluding season 1 and maybe the first half of season 2 - it really grew in quality and the acting was great, especially Picard and Data!

Back to Doctor Who, I was drawn to it back in the early days of cable TV in Berlin and I found one station, which had English stuff, which made me very happy, as I had found my passion language in English a while back and I devoured it as much as I could (tough were the drinking nights with British soldiers ) and they had the Tom Baker episodes and I fell in love with it. And when the new start was shown on German TV, I remembered the series well and gave it a go, loved it completely, but was annoyed by the dub, so I turned towards the original and can say I have all released seasons on DVD (1-4) and BD (5 and 6) and will continue with BD... I have become such a fanboy that I even have the Nintendo wii controller in form of the Sonic Screwdriver, a toy Sonic Screwdriver as well and the recently released programmable remote control in that same shape is on it's way to me. A Tardis with sound is also standing at my flat...

I wonder what it would be like to have a 'Cyberman collection' episode? I think if those original Tenth Planet versions were updated ( complete with 'open mouth' voices ) they could be pretty creepy!

I sadly had to throw away a few DVD's (I'm update my 'clear out' list on the trade forum even if there wont be much of interest) but kept all my Doctor Who DVD's. I found a few I didn't even remember buying, to my pleasure and surprise, this was one of them.

I had forgoten what a great set this was and am going to sit down and watch the only exisitng episodes of The Abominable Snowman and The Web of Fear tonight. Two of my favourets.
Sitting down to watch The Wheel in Space and The Space Pirates.

I think The Wheel in Space may be my worst Doctor Who story ever.

Incredibly dull.

After watching the only existing episodes, I may have to agree with you.
The Space Pirates seem'd it might have been a really good story if completed.

Just bought a Revelation of the Daleks FX Dalek from Argos.

Its pretty good has about ten different phrases and extermination effect.

The bad thing about it is that its just a Genesis Dalek redesigned from the classic three Dalek set a few years ago The head doesn't move neither does the sucker arm.

I'm pleased though as i don't currently own a white Dalek. The Death to the Daleks model was very tempting as well.

Revelation is one of the best Dalek stories.
