I must admit I enjoyed the Dinosaur episode more than I thought I would. The character of Solomon was a real old fashioned Doctor Who baddie in an episode that would have been far too jokey otherwise.

Unfortunately thanks to vhs then dvd the reality is a little disappointing.

I had both of those books - and both signed by Tom Baker. They got lost somewhere along the line in the transition to adulthood, but now I wish I still had them.

I was looking forward to your review Demoncrat.

I just knew that episode was up your street.

Matt Smith's Doctor has grown on me and all that nonsense doesn't really bother me much.

To me he's playing Troughton on steroids. It still amuses me listening to The Highlanders to hear Pat wittering on about hats etc. Its no more stupid than Romana's regeneration, or McCoy playing spoons on Kate O' Mara's breasts.
