He only had two seasons.
Yes, his performance was very theatrical for the telly but I think he'd have learnt to temper it more had he not been ousted from the role by pathetic BBC politics.
I will agree with that Tom Baker and David Tennent will always be my fave Doctors but I think Colin Baker and Sylvester McCoy were badly let down by the BBC because of all the cut backs to the story writing, SFX's and general production values at the time.

I'm not a fan at all, although I love Tom Baker, Jon Pertwee and Patrick Troughton as actors.I tried to watch the Christmas day episode but kept falling asleep, when I was awake I couldn't make out what the hell was supposed to be going on.Complete nonsense imo!

So true, this years one was I think more concerned with pushing the BBC's HD output more than a story, which lets face it was a pile of sentimental clap trap.

Why do they always have to make it snow?

I'm a fan but not too big on this current Doctor. He's ok.

My favs are David Tennant and Jon Pertwee (a true Man of Action).

I am a very new fan of Dr. Who...and I always get a lot of "NO WAYS" on this but I actually am not enjoying David Tennant (I'm currently in the middle of the second season). I really love Christopher Eccleston. Maybe it's just holdover love from 28 Days Later, The Others ("Sometimes I bleed.")...and Heroes but yeah. I don't think I'll ever love another Doctor like him.

I watched Matt Smith in Season 5, on Blu-Ray, over the Christmas period and enjoyed it far more second time around. I tend to get disappointed initially with Who and come to appreciate it more on second viewing.

Tom Baker and Patrick Trougton are my favourites.

Colin Baker would actually be my third favourite - I thought he was a seriously good doctor, but was badly served by his costume and some of the storylines. I liked the fact that they tried to take his doctor in an edgy, unpredictable direction. Loved Trial of a Time Lord season, even though I should not.

I'm glad Big Fish audio managed to rehabilitate the sixth doctor's reputation.

I like the Daleks.
Bought a toy Dalek on my first visit to Britain as they were unavailable here and there was no internet back then.

Jon Pertwee is probably my favorite doctor.
