As Mojo says, the only stories to have added colour are Pertwee ones which should be colour but black and white prints were all that survived the BBC cull. |

My favourite episodes of all time list is harder to think of than I thought, so in the meantime, here's my thoughts on the Pertwee era- Season 7- Spearhead From Space: 10/10 The Silurians: 10/10 Ambassadors of Death: Not seen Inferno: 10/10 (I think it's save to say season 7 is one of my all time favourite seasons! Hopefully it'll be a full house of 10's when I see Ambassadors) Season 8- Terror of the Autons: 8/10 The Mind of Evil: Not seen The Claws of Axo's: 4/10 The Colony in Space: Not seen The Daemons:5/10 (Probably his weakest season in my opinion, though I still have to see a couple more stories to judge fairly) Season 9- Day of the Daleks: 9/10 The Curse of Peladon: 4/10 The Sea Devils: 10/10 The Mutants: 10/10 (I may get flak for this but I really like this one, bar one or two really dodgy actors) The Time Monster: Not seen (based on what I've seen, I think it's better than season 8 but just a little weaker than season 7) Season 10- The Three Doctors: 7/10 Carnival of Monsters: 8/10 The Frontier in Space: 6/10 Planet of the Daleks:6/10 The Green Death: 10/10 (Pretty good episodes, climaxing in one of the greatest episodes of all time) Season 11- The Time Warrior: 10/10 Invasion of the Dinosaurs: 9/10 (again, massively underrated. Great story, bad effects) Death to the Daleks: 9/10 The Monster of Peladon: 5/10 Planet of the Spiders: 7/10 (But I will say Pertwee's regeneration scene alone is a 10/10) (It was a really good final season. It's safe to say i'm a big fan of this era!) |

In the original transmission three Daleks and a few Ogrons attack a manor house, we were led to believe it was an army. It was bleeding obvious only three Daleks were used. The dvd has an optional version which has many more Daleks, more Ogrons and additionally filmed scenes of battles with UNIT soldiers. As none of the regular cast are in the scenes it all fits in seamlessly. Suzi hates it though. |

Absolutely mindnumbingly boring which only perks up when Ingrid Pitt's cleavage is introduced and Roger Delgado spends two episodes staring at it. |

Yeah I've heard about this one (shudder). What about Ambassadors of Death, Mind of Evil and The Colony in Space?

I really enjoyed Colony in Space again on dvd. As with many of the six episode stories its far too long but still enjoyable. |

I picked it up tonight. Can't wait to see it again. Been years since I saw it.

Why no love for Claws of Axos, Goth? I adore it, a bit talky granted but I got a massive Quatermass vibe from it and that's only good in my books. That and I think Axos is a great concept for an alien menace, one mimiced since but never topped.
