I read Moffat's previews on another site.

To be honest it doesn't sound all that great a series to me. Seems to be partly rehashing ideas from other stories from over the years.

I'll probably love it.

The little MTDS's always seem to have that expression in photo's that a monster is going to get them. Whether it be Weeping Angels or tree creatures.

Well I'm back from seeing Deep Breath at the cinema and... I can safely say Peter Capaldi might just be my new favourite Doctor.

The show is moving into a new golden age!

I have to say for half an hour after the opening credits i hated it.

Then came the newspaper ad and the story kicked into gear. Great to see more of the Clockwork Robots, i loved them in The Girl in the Fireplace.

The last ten minutes were special. A fantastic touch having Smith there to persuade Clara and the viewers that this was the Doctor and we'd all get used to him. Alot more subtle than have him strangle Clara then declare "I'm the Doctor whether you like it or not".

Jenna was terrific, probably her best performance, look forward to more from her.

Finally, i loved the S&M Mary Poppins, hope she returns before the two part finale.

As for Peter Capaldi, he'll be just fine.

What the hell have they done with that theme tune? It sounds like a reject from McCoys time! Bloody awful! As for the episode itself......hmmm!

I actually liked the new version of the theme myself.

Hate the fact they seem to be explaining Capaldi's appearance in the Pompeii episode - they never felt the need to do something that silly with Colin Baker. Enjoyed the episode as a whole though, a promising start.
