Thanks for the suggestion, but my TV set somehow does not really work with sub-titles, it offers the option to turn them on and off, but both settings have them off...

Good to see old creepy Troughton leading the polls.

Yeah not sure how that happened.

It was a couple of years ago. Everyone was on under fifty votes then all of a sudden overnight Troughton was on 150. Someone must have tampered with the poll somehow.

I may have to watch last nights episode again, as on first viewing I thought it was an unholy mess.
Series 11 was dreadful ( I stopped watching after the talking frog ) but I’ve given this new series a go and it is definitely an improvement ( Orphan 55 was a bit shit though ).
Although JW has improved a bit, I’m still not a fan I’m afraid.
I’ll keep watching the series though.

To me the episode was very good with the return of Jack and the setting up of the Cyberman two part finale. Should have just had the rest of the episode as a straight Judoon hunting a criminal job. I'd probably have given it an 8/10.

But all the other stuff felt randomly thrown in. There were enough random plot points to fill out years of scripts not just the remaining five episodes.

The return of the all powerful Cyber fleet would have been perfect for me this series, then go do the 'other' Doctor stuff in Whitaker's hopefully last series.

Just read that Nicholas Parsons has died age 96.

At the time he was an odd choice for a Doctor Who story but as it turned out he was excellent in his role as the vicar in Curse of Fenric.

He also took part in the newly recorded special features for the new season 26 blu-ray and according to a review in the most recent Doctor Who Magazine, loved every minute of it.
