Popular music in 'Doctor Who' #51

Episode: 'The Last Of The Time Lords'
Artist: The Scissor Sisters
Title: I Can't Decide
Notes:
* Played by the Master as he enters the bridge of the Valiant
* The title of the song is not given on screen. Instead, the Master only refers to it as 'track 3'
* It can be found on the 2006 album 'Ta-Dah' where it is, in fact, the third track

As seen in the episode

The full song

For an episode that's generally thought of as lower echelon Who the writing was superb, with outstanding interplay between the Doctor, Rose, Jack, Mickey and Margaret Slitheen.

It was actually a joy to watch and makes the writing of the Chibnall era stand out for it's awful clunkiness.
it's a solid episode which i like better than the two part slitheen episodes. and it's a good example of DW exploring 'issues' - in this case the morality of capital punishment - without being preachy.

i was minded to watch an older episode also. in this case, it was Heaven Sent which had really impressed me in the Capaldi era. watching it now its still brilliant. i was interested to see if other viewers had liked it as much as me so had a look at the imdb rating. 9.6 - totally a stonewall classic.

Haha... i just don't get along with Heaven Sent. It had a great location and strong imagery but the repetitiveness bored me first time round and when i watched it on dvd i fell asleep.

Don't rate Hell Bent either, in fact that whole season bar a few episodes i really wasn't keen on.

I wonder if anyone has ever considered asking Sean if he fancied following in his dad's footsteps.
