I got this a few years back. Same shop, paid a fiver for it. It's pretty enjoyable and well worth one English pound.

I trust you bought one, Susan.

• Robin Hood - 1953 Episode: Patrick Troughton’s earliest surviving TV appearance

It's not the full video release. It's just the Peter Davison linking material and interviews with people like Terry Nation, Raymond Cusick and Roy Skelton etc. There are a few clips from the show, but no full episodes. Total run-time 38.56

Been looking it up as i was composing this post.

The thirty minute six episode series was transmitted live so i bet it's extremely talky and even creakier than i imagined.
Actually, it's very entertaining and moves at a cracking pace. Again, it's not the full episode, but the short run-time of 8.37 (including opening and closing credits) left me wanting more

I also think that the Alan Wicker episode about 'what makes horror, horror' could very easily have fitted in as an Arrow Films special feature

Funny you should mention Power of the Daleks Susan as i've just been on to Sainsbury's late this afternoon and bought it.

I decided i wanted the slipcase and couldn't guarantee that when it drops in price to seven or eight pounds that it would still have a slipcase.

I got it last week, and am working through the new material that wasn't included in the original release

I also have a copy of 'Fury From The Deep' ready to watch when I have finished with the Daleks!

You're going to love that. It really is something else animation wise. Big Finish have made the 'sets' so grand in scale and it's a joy to watch the 'actors' animated faces.

I've still got two episodes to go. Trying to savour them.
