At least we'll have something entirely new for the 60th anniversary in 2023. The producers whomever they will be don't need any big continuity story just a device ala the Time Scoop from the Five Doctors to bring one or two past Doctors together again against a common enemy or a look back into the Time War. |

In a post on Instagram Steven Moffat said in capital letters AND THE WEEPING ANGELS ARE BACK. This hasn't been actually revealed by production office so will be a huge spoiler for fans who don't scour the far reaches of the net looking for info. Another rumour going round is that Piers Wenger (Former Who producer and now head of drama) wants Sally Wainwright to be the next show runner. Happy Valley was gripping stuff but personally i'd prefer her to do more Happy Valley than Doctor Who. |

Babylon-5 creator J. Michael Straczynski has said he'd love to become the new show runner on Doctor Who. https://www.radiotimes.com/tv/sci-fi...ho-newsupdate/ |
