Note (i): Also provided the voice of Zor on the Argo Records audio story 'Doctor Who and the Pescatons'
Note (ii): Strange one this. Although this character had been cast for episode six of the story, director Paul Bernard made a last-minute decision to only use footage involving Congressman Brook. The newsreader gets a mention in the target novelisation, as well as a credit both on-screen and in Radio Times, but actually does not appear in televised Doctor Who. Incidentally, the novelisation makes no distinction between this newscaster and the one that was played by Louis Mahoney in the first episode. It is possible, therefore, to believe that this character doesn't actually exist in any form of Doctor Who!

In memory of Ralph Watson (20 January 1936 - 20 June 2021)

In the '60s and '70s he appeared in four Doctor Who television stories. He played an uncredited Generator Scientist in 'The Underwater Menace', Captain Knight in 'The Web of Fear'...

Ettis in 'The Monster of Peladon'...

...and Ben Travers in 'Horror of Fang Rock'

In 2009 he appeared on the audio commentary for the 'The Monster Of Peladon' in the 'Peladon Tales' box set, where he was reunited with fellow cast members Donald Gee and Nina Thomas, as well as producer Barry Letts and script editor Terrance Dicks

In 2019 he reprised the role of Captain Knight in the Big Finish audio story 'The Web Of Time' from the 'Diary of River Song' series

Just shows how bland and faceless the companions of the 13th Doctor have been when the satirist uses Nardole instead.
