A mere 339k viewers watched the opening episode on BBC America.

That's a third of what Capaldi achieved for the first episode of series 10, his final series.

That's woeful and no amount of spin can suggest otherwise.

RIP Lionel Blair

Posted here, because the clip they used in tribute on breakfast telly this morning for Give Us A Clue featured both Jon Pertwee and Peter Davison in Lionel's team, which I thought was kinda cool.

that is dire, its going to take a miracle for the show to survive, just think too much damage has been done by chris chibnall and the BBC agenda no what they do next season

just proves most people are sick of woke agenda, you can tell a good story with a message/agenda without the being beating around the head with terrible writing as classic who has showing

Eh? It's going to survive because it's already been announced that Russell T Davies is back in charge and will be making a sixtieth anniversary special and a full length series to follow.

Ever the optimist. Taking a long hard look at ex-showrunner Russell T. Davies, and of course his personal leanings, I would say he's already going to continue where Chibnall (agent provocateur) and the BBC left off with The Timeless Children, and the endless multiple Doctor's narrative that's been set in stone by his employer, the BBC, through Chris Chibnall. The show would have to be totally overhauled, and the narrative that's been pushed through since Imposter Who took over the reigns, ignored. That will never happen in the diverse and inclusive BBC with it's policy of pushing gender neutrality etc... Davies seems to agree with the BBC policy, so very little will change. The timeline will continue on, and that will be death nail. I wonder if the TARDIS is next on the chopping block. All shall be revealed by the end of this gigantic brown floating turd of a show.
