November 23rd, 1963 - 58 years ago today...

This must count as one of (if not *THE*) best reveals in television history. Because everyone now knows what the inside of the TARDIS look like, it's a real shame to think that no viewer will *EVER* have the same jawdropping moment that people watching the programme without having any preconceived knowledge in 1963 must have had


The only thing I can think of that I have seen on television that comes even remotely close to this was the episodes of 'Buffy' when it was first revealed that Angel is a vampire
