ok its only a trailer but it just doesn't have that star trek vibe coming from it, i can see it being a good scifi show but just not star trek, but i will wait till i have seen it before i make up my mind.

why is it set in the "past" we had that with Enterprise, i would of liked it set in the future after TNG, they could of done the temporal cold war from Enterprise which was interesting but really should of been its own show.

but if rumours are true each season is supposed to be a different story with a different crew and time period, but i doubt it as that would be expensive with have to build new sets each year

Sadly its on FOX and its SciFi so expect it to be cancelled after one season

seems very galaxy quest and that was a better star trek movie than a lot of them, also reading a new interview its more serous than the trailer makes out and is supposed to be more star trek than discovery as it will be keeping the spirt of the TOS and gene Roddenberry's vision, becaus eof who it is rumours of Patrick Stewart might be involved

I think it looks pretty good, it's clearly more aligned with the new movie franchise than TOS and TNG but that's not a bad thing really. I'm looking forward to trying it out.
