Seven of nine - all I can say is

I found the series to be a bit tedious at times but the final episode was excellent, still have that on VHS.

I will always be a big fan of TOS and TNG but would say I prefer DS9 over VOY.

I think Enterprise wasn't given enougth time to develop properly before they had to make changes to try and get in the ratings the studios demanded.

I'm probably completely wrong though.

OK my take on the Star Trek universe

Loved the original series and most of the films with my favorites being part 4 with part 2 a very close second.

I loved the latest movie/reboot and can't wait to see the next one.

As for everything else, I enjoyed all the Next Generation films however unbelievably I never saw any Next Gen series episodes until I recently bought the first 2 series on Blu-ray and have so far only watched the first 3 episodes of series 1 but I kind of like what I have seen so far.

I have never seen an episode from any other series although I might give them a go if/when they come to Blu-ray

One other point, I also recently purchased the animated series on DVD to sit alongside my original series Blu-rays however I have since read online that they are not supposed to be canon and having not yet watched them I'm not sure what I'm in for.

Can't see why they are not considered canon though.

As a 'Doctor Who' fan, it really goes against the grain, posting in this thread, but as a series in-joke...
