If you're watching it in SD then it may look a little more "acceptable"

I wouldn't mind betting there's actually something in that. The cinema screen didn't do it any favours.

It was laughably bad when my wife and I were in the cinema. I was so engrossed in the film until that CGI monstrosity came along and it completely took me out of the film. A real shame and to be honest a completely avoidable shame too. Could have just had Tarkin as a Hologram or facing his back to the camera whilst barking orders at the Troopers, anything better than creating a poor CGI face and using it much more than necessary. I've seen more realistic human face CGI in the Final Fantasy films or Beowulf even and they were created years ago, technology has improved since then but clearly not for the team working on Rogue One.

Sorry, just had to get that off my chest

Been watching the STAR WARS CELEBRATION ORLANDO live stream every evening from Thursday through to last night.
I have been working as well so after work caught up on what I missed and the live stream.
I'm knackered and my eyes were bloodshot every morning at work but it was worth it and would not have missed it.

Me this weekend...
