To answer Dems question about 100 posts ago about whether kids like it, the first words my 9 year old son said as the lights came back on and the credits began to roll were “That was amazing”, his 14 year old brother said it was better than TFA and my stepdaughters (7 and 11), who watched it with their mum last weekend, thought it was amazing too.
My youngest stepdaughter is Star Wars mad, her entire room is Star Wars related and she went to watch TFA dressed as Darth Vader and TLJ dressed as a Storm Trooper, so I’d say yeah kids do love these films as much as we did with the original trilogy

Hate is such a strong word to use to describe episode 8. I would say it's enjoyable enough for what it is. However as I said in the recent films watched thread. The humour felt rather off and at some moments rather unnecessary. This is a decent review.

I always enjoy their reviews (and I have actually watched that video a couple of days back). But ever since I discovered that they find the original Blade Runner film to be quite a boring movie, I tend to take their film verdicts with a very large grain of salt.

I tend to watch their best of the worst more than half in the bag

I've bookmarked their Blade Runner 2049 half in the bag episode for future viewing. As I didn't see 2049 at the cinema, I wanted to remain spoiler free until a blu-ray viewing. Since they don't like the original film, I'm guessing that they probably won't be raving about a sequel.

He was right about Boba Fett though. Even worse in Jedi. Really lame!
