My wife and I will be watching a live action Star Wars film each week, starting on Thursday (timeline order). All on 4K UHD format bar one. I had a big problem with the darkness of Solo and the 4K UHD is actually far darker than the already dark regular blu-ray! So 2160p for ten of the movies and upscaled 1080p for Solo. Probably the only 4K UHD I've bought where I far prefer the standard blu-ray, I regret the purchase of it.

It's easily my favourite Star wars movie after Empire. If this is anything like Rogue one it will be brillant.

So, in April is STAR WARS CELEBRATION EUROPE in London again.
I've been to all the London events usually attending all days.
This time I managed to get two days as all days tickets were sold out while I was at work. I think this two days is enough for me now anyway. I may only go one day next time. The Original Trilogy is not really represented anymore, most notable from last years event.

I got an email today with guest announcements.
Autographs £200!
Photo shoots £200!

Only one Original Trilogy guest, Denis Lawson. When I met him in London a few years back he was about £20.
Well, this is Disney Lucasfilm now and this is fracking outrageous!!
Good luck to anyone who pays these prices.

May The farce be with you.

The punters at Star Wars Celebration Europe stand in stunned silence at the price of those autographs.

In 1977, when 'Star Wars' overtook 'Jaws' to become the highest-grossing film ever released, Steven Spielberg took out an ad in Variety magazine...
